Major Relationships between Iron and Soil Characteristics under Different Vegetation Cover in the South-East of Côte d'Ivoire

To identify the main soil properties influencing dynamics of iron in agricultural land use activities south-east Côte d'Ivoire, samples were taken from fields rubber, rice and natural forest, plots block B29. The concentrations soils determined by atomic emission spectroscopy with inductively coupled plasma, physical chemical characteristics (pH, organic carbon, total nitrogen, assimilable phosphorus, exchangeable cations, capacity exchange, sand, clay silt) analyzed according to usual methods. results show that free (Fed) is relatively more concentrated surface horizons, firstly under cultivation, then secondarily rubber compared forest. bioavailability has highlighted a significant correlation between three parameters, namely, fine sand which reflect fixing power soil, sum cations. By contributing storage potential these parameters should not be underestimated, especially cultivated soils. They seen as important components ecological agriculture.
